I WANT TO HELP YOU GET THE

FIRST FIVE YEARS RIGHT.

I've spent decades working in finance, business, sales, marketing, and management. But some of the most important work I've ever done has been helping young people figure out what comes next.

Because there's a strange moment that happens after school ends.

You've spent most of your life following a fairly clear path: go to school, get good grades, graduate, go to college, get the degree, and land the job.

And then suddenly... There is no syllabus anymore.

You're earning real money, building a career, and making decisions about where to live, what to spend, what to save, who to trust, which opportunities to pursue, and what kind of life you actually want.

And somehow, you're expected to know how to do all of it. That's the gap I want to help you close.

I've Spent My Career in the Real World.

Before becoming Frank the Financial Coach, I spent more than 25 years in managerial and director-level roles across sales, marketing, management, magazine publishing, distribution, and financial services.

More than a decade of that career was spent inside the financial services industry.

I learned how businesses operate. How careers develop, how money works, how leadership works, and perhaps just as importantly, I made plenty of mistakes along the way.

There are lessons that become incredibly obvious after decades in the working world that are almost impossible to see when you're just getting started. I want to help you see them sooner.

Then I Started Teaching.

For more than 12 years, I've taught business to young people, primarily at the high-school and community-college level.

During that time, I've worked with more than 1,100 students.

I've also personally advised and mentored more than 50 former students as they moved beyond the classroom and began navigating their own careers and adult lives.

And those experiences taught me something important.

Young adults don't just need more information. There is plenty of information available. They need context and someone who can help them understand how the pieces fit together.

  • Why one financial decision matters more than another.
  • How a career decision can affect their financial future.
  • How to navigate the unwritten rules of the workplace.
  • How to recognize a mistake before it becomes an expensive one.
  • And how to make their own decisions with greater confidence.

And Then There's My Most Important Credential.

I'm a Dad.

I've experienced this transition from the other side, too.

My daughter went through a difficult stretch in high school before moving on to college, earning her master's degree, building a successful career, getting married, and creating an independent adult life in Northern Virginia.

I know what it feels like as a parent to want desperately to help, to see things your child can't see yet, and to know when they need guidance—but also recognize that there comes a point when Mom or Dad can't be the person giving all of it.

I had to learn how to support my daughter while allowing her to become the owner of her own life.

And today, I bring that experience to the families I work with.

The playbook I used to help the young adult I love most in the world is the playbook I now bring to you.

Money Is Only Part of the Equation.

Most financial professionals understandably focus on questions like: How much should you save? How should you invest? How much risk should you take?

Those questions matter.

But when you're in your early twenties, you may be asking much bigger questions.

  • Am I in the right career?
  • Should I move to another city?
  • Can I afford my own apartment?
  • Should I go to graduate school?
  • How do I ask for a raise?
  • When should I leave a job?
  • How much should I save versus actually enjoying my life?

These are life and career decisions with financial consequences.

That's why my approach brings together three areas that are too often treated separately:

Money

Build the systems and knowledge to manage what you earn.

Career

Build the skills and professional judgment that can help increase what you earn.

Life

Use both to create greater independence, confidence, and choice.

Because the point of getting good with money isn’t to think about money all the time.

It’s to build a life where you don’t have to.

My Approach

I'm not here to make your decisions for you, and I'm certainly not here to tell you that enjoying your money is irresponsible.

You should travel, have fun, go out with your friends, and build a life you enjoy.

My job is to help you understand the tradeoffs so that the things you want today don't quietly take away the choices you want tomorrow.

  • I want you to understand why you're making your financial decisions.

  • I want you to become more capable professionally.

  • And I want you to develop the confidence to make increasingly important decisions for yourself.

The goal is independence not dependence on a financial coach.

You Don't Have to Have Everything Figured Out.

You're going to make mistakes. We all do.

You're going to change your mind. Your career may change. Your priorities will change. And the life you imagine today probably won't look exactly like the one you're living ten years from now.

That's okay.

You don't need a perfect plan for the next 40 years.

You need a strong foundation for the next five.

And if I can help you avoid a few expensive mistakes, make smarter decisions, build confidence with your money, accelerate your professional growth, and create more choices for your future...

Then I've done my job.
